This is a part-time independent contractor role with negotiable pay within the range of $30-$50/hour (based on experience). We have an international team and invite all to apply who have the appropriate skills and experience.

While the schedule is flexible, you must be regularly available between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM MT Monday through Friday.

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

  • Collaborate closely with clients and Client Success Managers to translate their requirements into effective email marketing campaigns, ensuring their success and satisfaction.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on all email marketing campaigns, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Optimize and improve automated email marketing flows to maximize customer engagement, retention, and revenue generation.
  • Identify technical issues and work diligently to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Continuously analyze data and metrics to identify revenue opportunities for clients, providing strategic recommendations to drive growth and maximize ROI.
  • Develop comprehensive content calendars aligned with client objectives, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging throughout email marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including account management, copywriting, design, and implementation, to deliver seamless and impactful email marketing strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in email marketing, incorporating them into our strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, generate insightful reports, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting and mentoring team members when needed.

What We’re Looking For in Your Prior Experience

  • B2C experience is required, particularly with enterprise eCommerce businesses.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing a Retention Marketing program for a D2C or B2C eCommerce brand. 
  • Experience with Email, Push, SMS, CRM.
  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying revenue opportunities, developing content strategies, and enhancing retention and loyalty marketing.
  • Previous experience working with email marketing agencies on a contractor basis is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using marketing automation platforms
    • Ideal, but not required: SFMC, Braze, OmniSend, Responsys, Klaviyo
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and basic coding principles for email design and customization.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, eCommerce platforms (such as Shopify), and Google Analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
